  The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognized outstanding middle school students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students in middle school who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

 

  To be eligible for membership, the candidate must be a member of the sixth, seventh or eighth grade class. Candidates must have an overall scholastic average of at least 92% average in all subjects, and an "E" in conduct. NJHS members receive a stole to wear over their gowns at graduation. The stoles are the property of Mary Help of Christians School and are the be returned after graduation.
